The Public Library in Gołdap is located at 31 Partyzantów Street in one of the buildings of the historic barracks complex of the former Count Dönhoff's Infantry Regiment, built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. M.M. Ratasiewicz ”. The library in Gołdap adapts and changes its offer, the scope of services provided, expands the forms of work, responding to the needs of the city and commune inhabitants. The Public Library in Gołdap has a collection of photos and albums. This resulted in the need to organize the iconographic collections and to classify them in the bibliography of Warmia and Mazury. We intend to digitize photographs and old library collections and make them available in a digital version, digitization is to be a means of protection against destruction. In 2017, the library joined the Warmia and Mazury Digital Library, where it provides its collections related to the history of the Gołdap region and Warmia and Mazury.
