Photos of George Waluga
George Waluga - born 13.04.1930 in Warsaw; lives in Olsztyn; graduate of the School of Agriculture Fisheries in Olsztyn; engineer; photographer, author of approx. 100,000 photographs of Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, mainly Olsztyn, publisher and editor of the journal, the author of articles about inland fisheries. He organized Publisher Inland Fisheries Institute. At the turn of the 70s and 80s. Waluga participated in the research programs, then coordinated the activities of the Institute. In the years 1973 to 1980 he was secretary of the Team Fisheries of Science and Technology Council at the Ministry of Agriculture. He presided of the Section Fisheries Association of Agricultural Engineers and Technicians Scientific Technical Center. Acted in "Solidarity". Is retired from 1995. Photographs in this collection George Waluga gave the Public Library in Olsztyn. Other of his fotos can be found in the Archives of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, a lot of it was used in a variety of publications and presented at exhibitions.
